Put down your cell phone and turn off your TV and computer. It’s time to escape to someplace that is genuinely relaxing and rejuvenates your soul; someplace away from the crowd, the traffic and the hustle and bustle of our everyday lives … where your nearest neighbor is eight miles away.

Time ticks a little slower at Latigo Ranch, but your heart will beat faster when you take in the spectacular views there and ski the 60K of machine-groomed Nordic trails surrounded by private land and National Forest with (attention backcountry enthusiasts) 200 square miles of powder! Savvy Colorado skiers know Latigo has some of Colorado’s best snow conditions – about 18 feet of it falls every year!

If some of the finest cross-country skiing in Colorado doesn’t take your breath away, the views certainly will – from the front porch of Latigo Ranch’s historic, 82-year-old log lodge lies a panoramic view of 100 miles of the Continental Divide!

Make the short climb up one of our ski trails to Jumper Flats, and you will see the rugged peaks stretching from Eagle’s Nest Wilderness Area to the Indian Peaks Wilderness Area, and Rabbit Ears Pass, as well.

And after all of that skiing and exploring in the wilderness, your nose will welcome the aroma of fresh, healthy and hearty nouveau ranch cuisine coming out of Latigo Ranch’s kitchen. With hospitality almost as warm as the fireplace, guests keep coming back year after year for the true Western ranch experience – winter and summer.

Latigo Ranch is family-oriented, and kids love being there. With so many things for them to do, you might even have time to put your feet up, sip on a brandy and enjoy a good book; or meet new friends around the fire and swap ski stories.

You will hardly be roughing it in Latigo Ranch’s cabins – each of the one to three-bedroom cabins has a refrigerator, cozy furnishings and a fireplace or woodstove.
