Ski the beauty of the Town of Breckenridge’s “Protective Management Area” in Cucumber Gulch along the Beaver Meadows Trail and participate in the Nordic Nature Series Interpretive Snowshoe and Hiking Adventures.

Get away from it all and enjoy the newly expanded cross-country skiing trail system in the New Nordic World on Peaks 6 and 7 in the White River National Forest. We manage and groom trails on 1,300 acres under permit by the US Forest Service. Stay at “Kathy’s Viewpoint Cabin” with a sauna and the “Hallelujah Hut.” Both destination warming huts are heated and open all day, everyday for your enjoyment.

Dog trails for skiing are available on on Peaks 6 and 7, with self-guided snowshoe trails for dogs on a leash.

Inside the classic Nordic Chalet, you will find wood-burning stoves in the lounge areas, and a full retail and rental shop offering clothing, accessories, skis and snowshoes. Ski lessons and Snowshoe Adventures are offered four times daily and some moonlit evenings by reservation. Outside, there are kids’ play areas with igloos, a fire pit for roasting marshmallows, slides and sledding hills.

Visit the authentic Victorian mining Town of Breckenridge, nestled between the magnificent Ten Mile Range and Continental Divide. A recreation center, town cultural event center, restaurants, shopping, day spas and more can be found in the town and ski resort right next door.
